We solely collect your e-mail address and hashed password for authentication, and the social media account handlers you explicitly choose to back up. Your payment information is securely processed by our licensed payment gateway (Creem) and is never stored on Bitig infrastructure.

All data in transit, including images, videos, and texts, is secured using industry-standard encrypted connections (SSL/TLS). At rest, your backups are hosted on highly secure cloud infrastructures (Cloudflare R2). User credentials and passwords are irreversibly hashed using the robust bcrypt algorithm.
3. Cookie Usage
Bitig implements a strict necessity cookie policy. We only deploy essential cookies (such as JWT tokens) required to maintain secure user sessions. We do not track your cross-site behavior or utilize invasive advertising cookies.
4. Non-Disclosure to Third Parties

We unequivocally guarantee that your personal data and backed-up social media contents are never sold, rented, or shared with third-party corporations, data brokers, or advertising networks. 5. Permanent Data Erasure (Hard-Delete Guarantee)
Bitig is committed to your right to be forgotten. Upon the deletion of your account or cancellation of your subscription, all associated personal data and social media backups are subjected to an immediate hard-delete process. This means your data is completely eradicated from our primary databases and cloud servers without leaving any traces or copies on third-party services.
